So, what did I think?
I think this Coventry, UK
group has definitely got it going on. Between the singers soulful voice and the
perfectly placed fiddle, their powerful lyrics ring out and demand attention
from all within earshot. I have listened to their entire debut album Face the Wolves, and I have to say I am
quite impressed. They have hints of the almost typically rowdy Brit-tune but it
is wrapped up in strummy, subtle guitars and every ounce of folky acoustic
goodness that I was searching for to include in this weeks post. I was
pleasantly surprised and I hope you will be too. Enjoy!
